Has anyone tried the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
I'm in the process of trying to get new rear tyres. It's proving a real pain as I run 255's on the back and all the distributors have run out of Toyo Proxy T1-R's. Up to now I've had Eagle F1 GSD3's but as these can't be obtained now I thought I'd try the Proxies. So, now looking at going back to 24...

Hi Hylts, It's me that has been compiling all this with the help of Alfie and a few others. Sorry you haven't had any feedback yet. When I started out doing this I foolishly thought that we could get all the cars in short time. Sadly this has not been the case albeit I am still on the hunt and still...

I went from a 2002 3.0i to a S54 M and there were some noticeable differences. The 3.0i definitely had more grunt at low revs, so a slight change of driving style was need to get the most out of the M. You will find though the M will definitely outpace the 3.0i by a long way once you know how to con...

Get all excited this morning as found another missing S54. This was a nice Titainum Silver with Estoril Blue interior. Still got a way to go before we have a full house, there are 28 cars where there's no match between VIN and Reg and I have records of 17 cars I can't match to a VIN. It does tend to...

All right guys I've done some tinkering on the old census and the consensus of opinion is I'm confused :? I have managed to fill quite a few blanks and few questions have been answered but as in any research you sometimes get more questions. So we now all 73 cars exist or did and we have colours for...

The earliest car I have details for is 005, a Phoenix Yellow car that looks like it was a press car as the specification was a little different. When I look at the cars I have records for it is obvious that there's some large gaps in the early VIN's the majority of cars don’t really start until VIN ...

It's hard to believe the data has been archived. When I take my car in for a service and give them the VIN, they can tell me every last detail about my car. The info from BMW we need is quite simple. For those cars where we have a reg, colour, etc all we need to do is match it to a VIN. Then there's...

Thanks to Nick for the VIN, that helps tick another off the list. Sadly it also means I now have 11 unknown cars. So that means I have 11 cars where we have no record of registration nor VIN, however I do have Reg's and VIN's for 36 cars and still trying to match VIN's the 37 cars that I have a reg ...

Have a look at this topic, they come from a supplier in the US. They are standard Z8 parts but need a clip underneath to get a snug fit. Well worth it!

Rear Window Seam Repair - Hinder Later Replacement?
In recent weeks I've noticed a small part of the seam around the rear window has come astray. It's easy to tuck back but later comes adrift again. The repair suggested of using a black silicone adhesive looks easy enough, so will give that a try later today. My question is however, after doing this ...

There's an S54 M Roadster for sale in Nottingham. It's in Titanium Silver with a dark grey/black interior with what looks like the extended leather.I last saw it up for sale in '05 at Sytners in Nottingham when it had 27K on the clock. The only thing against from the add is the mileage. May be worth...

Careful here...... don't jump to conclusions. It would be seen like this in the UK..... By using these you would gain an unfair advantage..... you would brake quicker, thus the guy behind would be forced to run into the back of you, as he was adjusting his podi at the time, the lady behind him would sue as she smeard her lippy. Oh F... Fiddlesticks - Interior Rear View Mirror Broken
Don't believe this, went to turn the car around on the drive, turned the knob on the mirror as I'd left it dipped and the dammed knob fell off in my hand. It looks like the shaft connecting the knob has sheared off. This morning I've a quick look on RealOEM and there are three number listed for my c...

Luckily my next door neighbour works for a company that sells polishing kits (www.thepolishingshop.co.uk). Didn't take too long, just put the pipe on a bench and used my drill. It's a mucky job though, you'll need a mask and goggles. Sad thing though, one trip out in the rain and it'll all be gone :(
