Oh yeah, on the plus side we found out that it was the blokes doing the guttering that caused all the damage to the Zed.....luckily they hadn't been paid for the work and so the difference will be taken off what we owe them so I'm not left out of pocket.....

New car is already sorted....it's a Seat Leon Cupra with a few mods: RDR 210bhp remap (rolling roaded at 208.4bhp) Blue silicon boost hose kit K&N panel air filter It's a little less obvious than the Zed so hopefully will attract less attention from the locals etc.....if it does get damaged then...

Insurance company have coughed up so the car has gone into BMW today.....so for the next week or so I will be mostly driving a 320D SE Automatic.....feels quite wierd having to drive a 'grown up car'.....

I have just finished having my car roof repaired. In the end it turned out to be the 3rd microswitch which is hidden away behind the passenger seat somewhere.....the switch itself only costs £42...however the labour was about £400 :(

Well.....after nipping into BMW on the way to work all thoughts of this just being a quick change of wing mirror have been blown out of the water....I need a new door apparently.....the labour is £900.....they're working out the parts and will send that to me later today....excellent... :head:

That's really tough luck you're having lately! :( What bits do you need? Do you still have the (now detatched) mirror? A complete new mirror with all its electrics is £££expensive from BMW - a breaker may well provide a cheaper way of replacing it. IIRC when I had to replace the front facing portio...
