Re: Dead Battery.

I have now brought a “Power Train” trickle charger it says 3 stage charge system 12v 1.6 amp, has been on for about 26 hrs and still showing charging. Battery had enough charge in it to start car easily so must be nearly there. The manual says it brings the battery up to 95% charge then goes into fl...

Re: Dead Battery.

Am not convinced about the indicator on the battery, unless I've a duffer. The Carcoon I keep the car in winter months comes with a built-in constant trickle charger which is always on. The car starts first turn of the key but on checking the battery indicator it's either black, or possibly blank. ...

In its day the "E" was way ahead of the rest it had independent rear suspension on a production car, all Aluminium Body Jaguar were one of the leaders in that, and it was a looker, its predecessor the XK range were very old school in comparison.

A bit late I know but I have a E46 Coupe 330i which is now used more than the Z, it has a few more bells etc but as I am getting on a bit I find them very useful such as cruise control and rear parking sensors also the run flat tyres are not the evil devil that were depicted years ago, but it is a l...

Well in the end I took the car back to the dealers and it was the Brake master cylinder sensor at fault so NZ$977 later it was fixed, they would accept no responsibility and kept repeating “The sensors are sealed units and it was an internal fault so not our fault” All the way to the deale...

My Coupe automatically lowers the windows about 10mm when opening the door and of course raises them when the door is shut all other window operations when entering are controlled via the key.

Re: Window drop with hood operation ?

I can confirm that you just have to have the windows down on the Coupe to get in and out as they have long doors and steeply curved side windows which severely limit access, in normal side by side parking it is a real hassle for those of advanced years to get in and out. The Z on the other hand pres...
