I hope you guys all have a fantastic time. I can highly recommend Ettington Park. Mrs Roaders and I got married there in March. Katie looked after us for the 18 months it took to organise the wedding and did an absolutely fantastic job looking after all my relatives' complicated requests. I was actu...

Well what a day! We had absolutely AMAZING weather. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, I certainly did. The fantastic weather did unfortunately make the roads quite busy so we did come across quite a bit of traffic and in the second group we had cut the second leg short and just head straight to th...

What's next? :D Current Plan is an M3 :D You are far too well-paid. Gisajob? :D :D Well, Linzi and I both want the car and will be paying for it which makes it a bit more affordable. Of course the more sensible plan is to get a used one - an Ex Demo or something but we wouldn't get the spec we want...

Buy one from Halfords......they are quite cheap at the moment..... Shabs.........  Yes, great idea in theory but I live in a flat and my car lives in an underground car park with no tap. There's not much drainage either so I can't even use a bucket down there. I usually go to the local...

BMW Welt
Does anyone know more about the new BMW Welt (BMW World) that they've opened in Germany? When you order a new car you can arrange to pick it up there and get free tours of the factory, museum ect. Sounds like great fun. The site doesn't say anywhere that this is just for German customers or anything...

Do we think the car was JUST working from GPS coordinates or sis it know which way to go from GPS and looking where it was going at the same time? If someone had left a car parked on the track would the robot have driven into it at full speed or stopped / tried to avoid it. All the DARPA cars have a...

Help changing a fuse
Hi All
I've managed to blow a fuse (at least I hope that's all I've done) in my M by dropping a screw in the cigarette lighter!!
Where are the fuses and how easy are they to change? Will it be obvious which one I need to replace?
Thanks

A bit OT but can someone recommend a good valeter in the South East? I had a really good guy in Scotland who would clean my car every now and then but don't know anyone down here. Hi All I am about to move this week and we came across Cooper Wimbledon round the corner from our flat. I am very happy with my current dealers and was wondering what people's experiences have been with this dealers. I seem to use my local service department quite a bit so it would be nice to have o...

Z4 Car Covers
Hi All I might be having to leave my Z4 at my dads for a few weeks soon and he has a horrible pine tree that sheds all over his Z3 with sticky sap and generally makes a horrible mess. I've decided to invest in a car cover (also handy for when I'm at mums house who has doves that sh!t and land on EVE...

Tyres Ordered
It's not that ideal that with only 10,000 miles on the clock I was faced with a £1,000+ bill for tyres!!! However in the end I think I got quite a good deal. I took the car in because the original rears were getting quite low - down to about 3mm and I had a slwo puncture in the front nearside. Of co...

Yes I was thinking that we would have seen the support vehicles but had possibly gone another way (unlikely) or they had not left yet and had gone to a hotel or were waiting somewhere else to set off. There aren't that many roads from JoG and I think there's a good chance they would have taken the o...

Just seen your pics Giles - for some reason I didn't get an e-mail notifying me of the reply :( They look good. Spokey is trying to FTP a video to me so that I can host it for him. Spokey - any chance of the video appearing on a site somewhere? I can host it for you if that's a problem. Just busy editing the footage, for what it's worth. Sadly not much sight of the 120d there, but I'll knock it into some sort of shape, and it would be great if you could host it! That's...
