Key fob issues

Just had call from the boss, seems that both keyfobs will unlock the boot but not the car doors.

Doors will open manually (with key) but the petrol cap stays locked.

Anyone have any idea's what might be causing this ?

Edit: all seems to be working fine again - strange indeed.

Have decided the best option is to replace the head with an IPOD and bluetooth head. Its about the same cost as DICE / ICE but you get full iPOD control including playlists and full screen.

Have not done it yet though

I have a 2003 2.5si Z4 with standard business CD. I'd like to add an iPOD connection that will allow full control of the iPOD connected and allow playlists to be used. Removing battery

My bluetooth hands free has locked up - seems that I need to disconnect power to reset it and the easiest way is to do this via the battery.

If I do this will it mess up the car in anyway ?

Or do I need to pull the dashboard apart to disconnect at the handsfree unit.

Do you notice the rattle with the roof up and window up or down.

You can get a rattle caused by the window not seating properly into the roof rubber seal. Stealer can fix this for you by adjusting the window height.
