Try bilberry wheel cleaner from elite car care - a lot of pro detailers use it.
I recommended it on the CMax owners club forum and got some very positive feedback.

Re The Trojan.
There is a problem today with antivirus picking up an alleged Trojan JS Redirector.ar

Do a search on it and you will see that it is harmless.

It is a false activation on Kaspersky anti-virus which also supplies Virgin PC Guard.

Had me worried though :bawl: :)

I use Gloucester BMW specialists in Gloucester (just off Eastern Avenue near Screwfix).
Been going there since I changed from Mercedes (who have an excellent independant in Gloucester).

If you want a car cover I would reccommend getting a genuine BMW one as they fit superbly well. I bought mine on fleabay for about £110 4 years ago and its been in constant use since.

I used to have an E34 with the 2 litre 6 cylinder. At 145,000 miles it drove like new. I would personally pay a little bit more and find one of the many lower mileage' toy cars' that are out there. I reckon the credit crunch will see many of these on the market in the next few months at a knock down...

If the engine is turning over it doesn't sound like the starter motor.
It might be some sort of snsor /temperature related problem if it starts ok in the morning and when left for a while.
A trip to a garage to check it on the computer and interrogate the ECU may be the only way forward.

The 2 behind the seat probably open the 2 lockers behind the seats-one on the top and the other on the rear bulkhead.
The S/R button is for the computer. Are you sure this car hasn't got a manualroof? as the roof switch should be on the console.
