£18k is a very keen price and if you car has a hardtop coming with it I'd be looking nearer £20k.
Pistonheads is a good place to list and to get an idea of values.
What month '98 was it built?
Good luck with the sale

Still in shock over Gary's death. Top bloke and a good friend to me. This site and the Zed community owe him so much.
I will remember him every time I turn the key in Hamish.
Rest in peace, Gazza.

Glad you got the Zed sorted, Robert. Nothing worse for cars and batteries than not being driven. That said, at least you got out in the car - happy birthday to it btw. Hamish is a casualty of Covid-19 too..... but of a different kind. He’s still locked up since last November about 25 miles from my h...

Any of the Z3s you mention will give you "the power for overtaking & the odd thrill on the open road"
My advice, drive as many as possible and buy the one you can't wait to get back into. There's much more to a Zed than cubic capacity.

Front end respray
This is going to be done anyway over the next couple of months, but...
just wondering how much we think a full front end respray (including fitting of new front panels both sides) is going to add to the value of Hamish?

Hi
Cigar lighter does not work in Hamish. When pushed in it just stays in. NO heat whatsoever.
Fuse issue? Thoughts please

So I checked online : According to Tyreshopper, the only RF in 215/40 R18 are Pirelli P Zero at 178 fitted! On black circles same tyre is £165 delivered. No other options for RF 215 40 R18. Might as well buy locally then either the Bridgestone for £180 ea fitted or Dunlops for £160ea fitted. Opinion...

Thanks. Would need to get them posted to Belfast then try and persuade someone to fit them. Have never bought tyres online before, but there seems to only be 3 choices in N.I. for my 1 series Coupe. Dunlop at £160 ea, Bridgestone for £180ea and Pirelli for £220ea. Note - just put two new rear Bridge...

1er RF tyres
Guys,
The front tyres on my e82 are trashed after 30k miles.
I have been offered 2x 215 40 r18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A for £360 or 2x Dunlop SP01 FOR £320
Are Bridgestone worth the extra £40? Thoughts on wear, noise, grip appreciate too.
Thanks
Conor

Booked Hamish into Bavarian Garages, Belfast, today for a new windscreen. £600. To be fitted on Wdnesday of next week.
Oh, also bought a new wheel brace while there - a much easier on the wallet price of £12.
