My Zed is black with chrome wheels, i painted one caliper with Halfords blue caliper paint and it loked awful and cheap looking. I must admit that it does look ok on your blue zed's but din't work on mine especially with chrome wheels.
They are now painted silver.

I have the GAY sparkly bolts as you call them and they suit the car really well. As for offset... i haven't got a clue. i let the wheel company worry about that. They are 8.5 x 18" with 225 tyres.. they do protrude slightly but not to much to look obvious. Bought them from USA all i had to do w...

You should have gone to specsavers.........

Joking aside mate, you should have gone to a reputable wheel dealer. I did and i have a nice set of 18" complete with eagle v treads... No problems what so ever.

The swaying never happened before when i had the original wheels. It only happens when first starting off (cold) fast or slow. I already have a stut brace. The wheels are D'vinci Attivo chrome. My mistake, they are the same size front and rear, i have just measured them from the front of the rim to the back of the rim and they are 8" so i guess this makes them 8j's

Standard wheels for Z3 2.21

Hi everyone,

Havn't been on here for a while. Can anybody tell me what the standard wheel size is for my Z3 2.2i 2001. they are 16" rims but dont know the width. i know the rears are wider. I cant find anything in the owners handbook.

I had the same problem BMW refused to do it under the warrenty. so i kicked up a stink, in the end they payed for the parts and paint and i payed the labour £70.00.
