My Zed is black with chrome wheels, i painted one caliper with Halfords blue caliper paint and it loked awful and cheap looking. I must admit that it does look ok on your blue zed's but din't work on mine especially with chrome wheels.
They are now painted silver.

Joking aside mate, you should have gone to a reputable wheel dealer. I did and i have a nice set of 18" complete with eagle v treads... No problems what so ever.

My mistake, they are the same size front and rear, i have just measured them from the front of the rim to the back of the rim and they are 8" so i guess this makes them 8j's

Havn't been on here for a while. Can anybody tell me what the standard wheel size is for my Z3 2.2i 2001. they are 16" rims but dont know the width. i know the rears are wider. I cant find anything in the owners handbook.

You won't have any problems with the cosmo strutt brace with bonnet clearance, mine is perfect, highly recommened.

Go for the cosmo, it does the job, it's chrome and looks good, the price is wright, arrived in three days and only took 4 minutes to fit. see my previous posts.
