Re: INPA experts

The EEP fault only happens when it’s cold (inside the car or outside) after driving for a while and on restart the cluster works fine apart from the speedo error.

Q1. Which car are you talking about (Z1 or M Roadster)?
Q2. When did it start doing this?
Q3. Had you done anything recently that could have prompted it? New battery. New diff.
M Roadster
I get the EEP_1 dash fault sometimes (the cluster dies), it started from then.
Nothing.

INPA experts

My speedometer is over reading quite a lot, 40mph shows 60mph after a couple of EEP_1 outages of the cluster.
Can you tell me if it can be reset with INPA ?

Re the first question - my brother had a small ding fixed by a mobile paint repair which cost £250. A friend had the bonnet stripped and painted on his Nissan Patrol for £250 at a local paint shop. It appears that you need a few paint fixes so I would contact a paint shop. Re the 2nd question - I ha...

Phil p/x'd his car for an Alpina 3 series from Sytner.

A forum member had seen the car and approached Sytner and made an offer 'as is'.

If the S54 isn't a keeper then I would pass @ £21k

Phil’s S54 was advertised at BMW for £27K but sold for £19K I believe, 85k miles approx.

With 61K miles I would expect £22-25K private sale
