Re: Blast from the past - help valuing s54

Phil p/x'd his car for an Alpina 3 series from Sytner.

A forum member had seen the car and approached Sytner and made an offer 'as is'.

If the S54 isn't a keeper then I would pass @ £21k

Re: Blast from the past - help valuing s54

Phil’s S54 was advertised at BMW for £27K but sold for £19K I believe, 85k miles approx.

With 61K miles I would expect £22-25K private sale

I'll take the code reader.
Just let me know the cost inc p+p to Romford Essex.

Also it would be useful to note which model Z3 the parts are for.

Re: Making hard decision

The new car is easier to get into, yes it is quieter, the automatic gears make it easier to drive in traffic, it has the efficiency but where is the passion. Same goes for most new/newer cars. I've been told the new shape M3/M4 is very quick but uninvolved. I prefer to drive the car rather than the...

The Nubuck colour was darker than what you see now.

If you look behind the plastic seat back you will see the original colour which is more like the leather colour.

Re: New to the parish....

Obviously Import Duty and VAT play a big part with an import, luckily you won't have the bother of an IVA Test.

By the time you add shipping into the costs I can't see how it will be viable unless they are giving Z3's away in Japan.
