2 digit plates are called dateless plates they are becoming rarer and rarer they were the first plates.. I believe the first uk plate was A1

F1 went on sale last year god knows what its worth, look on www.regtransfers.co.uk there are some for hundreds or thousands

Rear top shock mounts most probably, had mine replaced today no rattles as yet!

Any one got any ideas on painting / retoring your CYLINDER HEAD/CYLINDER HEAD COVER??

Mine gone a bit flakey and bubbley and looks rubbish.. I see some paint them different colours i just want the usual black again..

Someone told me that it had probably been steam cleaned causing the flakeness..

Didnt expect these comments, thanks guys. I just like the car to look its best all the time. Apart from the scrtach on the front bumber its more or less perfect apart from the odd stone chips on the bonnet! :x But i do use it daily! I must admit the colours in the interior do look a little different...

How silly this is, Took it to my independent specialist (Keystone in Ringwood) the tech took it down the road and straight away suggested several things. Outcome was a spring missing off the nearside brake pads. So the pads were just bouncing around causing the rattle !! Few thought i had suspension...

Not all the time but quite often i get a strange rattle and a clonky noise from the front, its been in several times to the garage but they cant put there finger on it! Its quite irrating especially with the roof off... Is it the strut? all seems ok under neath rubbers etc all look in good nick... I...

I keep the miles low only 5 - 6 a day! think ive done 250 this year lots of short journeys which, isnt too good i always go the long way to work in the mornings! :roll:

Like i said though i never see M's anywhere, think theres 2 in Bournemouth if theres any others let me know will you...

How often do you drive your M? I have seen 1 other M roadster since i bout mine 3 1/2 months ago! Are they all locked up hiding in garages?

I use mine eveyday! very little mileage though.. 8-)

Fuel guage on my M sometimes reads empty when at least half full.

If you give it a quick blip on the accelerator it comes back? is there a fuse loose or loose connection somewhere or is the sender buggered

Can anyone tell me how to take the rear wheel arch apron off, i have noticed the bumper isnt lining up correctly due to screw not actually being there! had a go at it today and remoce the 4 obvious screws.. but its not budging! :head:
