Could be the left front brake binding a little.

So, if i've got to have them, I may as well have them on an M model

Do they always break? Is it just certain model years that break?

Is there anything you can do to stop it happening?

I'm new to the forum and to Z3's. I've decided to replace my Westfield Cosworth and a large engine Z3 is favorite at the moment, but i keep reading about problems with 'the VANOS', what are they and what do they do? Do all models have them?
