I think the offending sensor costs in the region of $100, will have to have another look on realoem.

I will have a chat with my local indie and see if it fall under the BMW warranty I still have on the car.

Anyone tell me where i can find the engine number on a 2000 3.0 Z3 ?

I need it for the insurance company for declaring my mods and all I can find is the plate with the chassis number on it in the engine bay....or is that the engine number and I am getting confused ??

Hi,
I just had my passenger side replaced at the dealers because they bent it!

They replaced the complete plastic trim and strip. It's only a couple of screws. I think it cost about £58 but don't quote me on that.
