Please check the antenna-amplifier in your Z1. There is one (left side, under the steering-wheel) - and your receptions should improve a lot. Same question for BMW Z1 ...

I just bought 2 x Becker Grand Prix 7992 (Red) : one for the Z1 (1990), the other for my VW 1302LS Cabriolet (1972). The radio has 4 outputs for loudspeakers and 1 for a sub-booster. What connector to buy and especially : where ??? Thanks for any help !
