When i start the ignition on my M Roadster the RED oil level light flashes 9 times then goes out. Estoril M gave me a wave this morning whilst "making progress" up the M6. I think the reg was P14 YAT but i was too shocked to do anything other than hang my gob open. I was in my Estoril M and I thought my rear view mirror was faulty when it appeared. So a belated Hi, if you are on here!!!

Ah yes, thanks for that Robert. I reconnected the wiring and moved the seat so I could access the big bolt. Tilt sensor is out and i can hear water sloshing inside it! Will see if it dries out in the airing cupboard. Drain plug pushed out and i am now rid of water. Thanks for your help Brian.

Thanks Brian, I will have a look for the drain hole. It was a bit dark and wet down there. Is the drain grommet removed from inside the boot rather than underneath the car.

I toured Europe 10 years ago in mine and was away for 8 weeks. Managed 17 countries and ended up in Africa. Every inch of space was used and we only had the roof up once as it was a glorious spell. Have fun, you have made me think of all the happy memories.

I recently changed the rear springs on my M roadster. I managed to get them out without undoing the anti roll bar but that was only because the springs had snapped. Checked with Eibach and they don't do a set of pro springs for the Z3M. They used to do a set but they are discontinued. As the engine is heavier i don't want to fit 3.0 springs. Surprised this isn't a widely talked about issue as everyone seems to say fit eibachs!!! Have ordered a set of H&R in...

Thanks all. I couldn't find a part no from eibach either but demontweeks told me that was the correct set. They obviously aren't right. Will have to get on to eibach in the morning. Needed them for mot so will have to get it tested on these big springs then sort it out!

Milton tablets work well. Do a google search and there are lots of "lesser car" forums that report good results. I did mine a few months back and it seems to stop the green mould coming back.

I had my heater unit out at the weekend and found that a bulb had blown. I used the one from the ashtray as a replacement which also blew. A visit to the dealer left me £7.40 poorer and that was for just one bulb. The dealer couldn't afford to stock any more and the second is on order at another £7....

Just put the hard top back on and found that one of the securing torx bolts had fallen out of its position at the top of the windscreen.
