z3 tonneau cover
Hi Guys, its been a while as i sold my Z3 a few years back. However, after a clear-out from my parents house I found our Z3 tonneau cover! Its black, original and never been fitted (My parents bought this with their car brand new). Its on ebay at the moment, item number 331117176882, I have been as ...

It went for 3800 bud. The first person that looked at it put up cash stright away and said it was far nicer than any other he had seen below the 4.5k mark. Its typical of this site to have only 1 interested member enquire, and some guy* above question the service history element (when its clearly in...

How can you say it has a full service history when you have written in a previous post that it did not have an oil/filter change for the first 50 000 miles :?: Misunderstanding at the time with my mother - Just like i thought auto rx fixed a misfire, but it actually needed 2 new coil packs on cylin...

dropped to £3895. If no sale, then shall wrap up in cotton wool (along with 300 gallons of petrol) and use it in my retirement years (from year 2048 if my maths serve me correct) anyway, i'll probably be dead by then....Sorry, i digress £3895... Can i just add that the pictures makes the Zed look ve...

Z3 2.0 1999 facelift SOLD
Hi Guys and Gals, I have just purchased a larger family car, so its time to put the Zed up for sale. Sad day for me - but great day for someone else! I have just spent £600 on a full service, and in its current 'spoilt' state, its one of those that you could buy and drive it for 10,000 miles and not...

You remind me of when my mum bought her zed in 2001 when i was 16 - I wanted to change a lot of things on it, but she refrained me from doing so... and quite rightly so. The yellow calipers dont work, please change them back. From this mod, I would imagine you are in your teens, and thats nothing ba...

Stone guards and Bonnet Bra's. Is it just me...?
I need your help here. I dont get the deal with the stone guards; not only are they god awful to look at (i would rather see a slightly chipped rear arch) but a lot of people put them on already chipped rear quarters, totally pointless if you think about it (your protecting a previously violated sur...

Wow, you love your zed, almost up there with the Y-man! I did the genuine carbon badges on a old black e36 BMW of mine....i spent ££££'s on the car, but they seemed to impress me the most every time i glanced over my shoulder after parking...if you get my drift! I dont think your car is sitting as l...

It looks better than when you first got it, thats for sure. I can see where you've gone with the mods, and to some it would look very nice, but I actually did alot of the things you have done to your zed on my nova 9 years ago, so i find it all a bit dated, dimly gaudy and especially not very fittin...

If u hear a funny noise under the bonnet- then read this!!
The night before After watching Toy story 3D (which was great, but doesnt warrant a 9+ on imdb) me and the missus had a nice evening drive home in the recently waxed and tyre-gelled Z3. Im not going to lie, she was running a little lumpy for the first time in years, and that coupled with the fact i...

Z3 Stereo install with new speakers.
Hi All, I thought i would run through what i did with my stereo set up, as it may help someone whom is considering upgrading the, lets face it, rubbish standard set up. I believe that there is an optimum spend to achieve a great sound, while maintaining good value for money. My remit was finding a h...

so, in essence, if you have fitted an aftermarket stereo: You find the white wire that feeds into the orignal BMW pin loom, chop this and connect it to the remote wire that comes out of the new aftermarket headunit/loom. Or: If the aftermarket loom connection has a link up with this white wire from ...

wow! My observations: -Like the wheels, best 17's ive seen on a zed. -lots of technical pictures, which I don’t really understand, and just quickly scroll through. -and the stereo sets us apart big time, and confirms that I now see that your a total purist, and it works (the extreme of this would be...

That is the best bit of modding i have seen on a zed. Nice job. Cheers! The ride isnt to ...

Cheers guys, I really appriciate the warm comments. I will put up a coulple more piccies in a short while. I drove the Zed around south Devon today and I can't believe how well it drives with the eibach setup, although slightly spongey on the front end round hard corners, strut brace next me thinks.

My 2.0 Zed. New wheels/suspension ect.
After a request or two, I have decided to post a little picture of my beloved Zedder. The Short Story I went on a search for a staggered alloy set-up, 9j rears, 8j fronts and of course 18 inch. (17 = to much arch, 19 = to big) The early inspiration of the Inovit DTM or cruize 134 died after seeing q...
