Not sure if this is the right place, mods feel free to move it if it isn't :D Found my old leather service folder with all the owners handbook etc inside. I've got someone that's interested in buying it, but what is it actually worth? Had a quick look over ebay and that didn't help. Don't want to as...

As title really, the zed absolutley lapped it up! Drove there, did my laps, stayed a few days and drove back, all without problems 8-) Put some 'redstuff' pads on before I went, and they were brilliant! Can't see why it won't fit, pretty sure it's the case that a 1.9 brace woud'nt fit a 2.8, but a 2.8 one would fit a 1.9.

I know strong-strut braces fit regardless of the engine size.

Actually, i've just assumed that moving up to the bigger disc there is a 'wider' contact area, but it could be the same on both sets of discs. Can anyone measure the contact area width on their 3.0 disc?

They definitely won't work without the appropriate carriers, but that's probably all that's required to get them to work. There won't be the space and even if you file out the carriers to accept the disc, the pads would still sit in the same position they would before (ie at "286mm") and ...

I'm tempted just to buy a set of 3.0 discs to see if they fit. They can't be that much of a squeeze that the carriers wouldn't be able to fit in an extra 7mm or so.

So the pads across the 2.2, 2.8 and 3.0 and the same, as are the actual calipers. The only differnce being the carriers. The 2.2 and 2.8 share the same part, the 3.0 has a different one. 2.2 and 2.8 discs are 286mm? 3.0 are 300mm. Just thinking it might be an easy brake upgrade to move to to the lar...
