Does anyone know a. good authentic upholsterer. I need to get the leather replaced on the right back bolster of my driver's seat (blue and black M sports seat)? I'm in Bedfordshire but I suppose it could be anywhere, ias long as I can get the cover off!

Hello everyone

I forgot to reply to let you know that in the end it turned out to be the switch down by the pedal, so luckily much cheaper than if the garage had had to take the car apart!!

This is the Z4 concept car which was on display in August. How much of that will translate to the next iteration of the Z4, which is probably scheduled for next year, who can say? I should imagine the Z4 will undergo a pretty significant change before becoming a mass production car!

If I had the strength and I could get hold of some connectors to replace my splicing then I would do it - having read the instructions a couple of times I think I have grasped it. I haven't got any mould, inside or out - I suppose there could be something between the hood and the lining but it doesn't smell inside the car. The only thing that was visible was the algae. How odd, no notification! No; I've cleaned the algae with Milton, waiting for next sunny day to clean with the BMW cleaner, then wanted to dye and then proof. Someone did it for me last autumn and used their own remedy instead of Milton - whether it was that or just the fact that the car's been outs...

Mine has been outside all winter due to far too much junk in the garage and I haven't driven it much as I broke my wrist and hand at the end of Aug; even now it's painful when I turn a corner. So that could well be the cause.

Thanks Howard. You mention the front wheels - is this on a front wheel drive car, or is there some other reason? The Z3 is a rear-wheel drive car.

Well, I just took a brief trip up and down the A1 and checked the wheels as soon as I got back. I DO get the judder at 50mph and then again at 75mph. The wheels are all hottish but the offside back wheel is hotter than the others. No smell of burning though and the back tyres were new last year, alt...

I'm having this problem, starting at a lower speed than yours. My OH thinks it is the tracking but I'll try and check the wheel for heat as suggested on the thread. Please post once the cause is confirmed and it's fixed.

I think you may be changing those front tyres sooner than you think. I had Asy1s and 100% agree with C_W, a truly excellent tyre. Problem is they no longer do them in the rear (245/40/17) size so when it came time to change had to go with Asy2. Asy2 on the back and Asy1s on the front does not work ...

You can still get the Goodyear F1 eagles but be warned, don't expect them next day. Mine took 10 days to come from Germany. I suspect they are nw superseded by tyres with energy ratings for fuel consumption and noise rating. This tyre is well before those silly green to red pyramid signs. Check out...
