When I stripped that dash out of mine to have the leather repaired, I found a fine white powder  inside the dash below the headlight switch. I suspect this was the Bakelite in the switch breaking down. I also ended up replacing the switch. I did try disassembling it, but I just made things wo...

PAS Leak? :(
My Zed is currently SORN for the winter and tucked up in the garage. I needed something out of the garage loft last week and had to move the car. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the PAS was driving out of the garage and sure enough there is a nice little puddle on the garage floor, towards t...

Interesting occurrence in May 2011 test for me. I think you missed my point, pingu. I am expecting the wiring harness to be setup for a relay, and was surmising that it worked when the switch was fitted because the relay was ALREADY present. Re: Are All Hardtops The Same?
You also need to fit an unloader relay on post-facelift cars. The post-facelift switch has a timer in it that cuts the HRW after a period of time, and I suspect that this will make it a low current switch, hence the need for a relay. I never fitted a relay, no-one told me, where the hell does that ...

You should bear in mind that for the deflector to work effectively you will need to keep the windows up. Many people fit them, drive with the windows down and claim the deflector makes no difference and was a waste of money.
