Re: Cannot get into my Z1!!

You would think that its completely mechanical but when i had this exact problem the doors would not unclock which leads me to believe that a small amount of power is needed for the central locking. I left the window down and when it happened again i opened the door from the inside handle which is c...

Re: Cannot get into my Z1!!

Its very easy, open your boot and remove the interior boot light ( NOT THE REAR LIGHT CLUSTER) its in the centre on the underneath, you may have to get on your knees to see it. Remove one of the wires and connect a positive from a battery or booster to it, then place the negative onto the boot hinge...

Its easy, just open your boot remove your light in the boot get a battery or booster and put the positive on the light terminal and the negative onto an earth/chasis. This will power the central locking. Go over to the door and it will unlock. Dont leave it on too long as the wire will get warm :head:

Selling Z1s is tricky. They are LHD and that murders the appeal for many in this country. Also few people actually know about them. Plus £20k is quite steep money for a small and not very fast roadster given what else £20k can buy you these days, so you really have to want one. A Z1 is almost impos...

I've always found that modified cars are worth more to the original owner than anyone else. This could be due to lack of trust in build quality, or just different taste. Personally, if I wanted a V10 in a car I'd want to do it myself. That way, if anything went wrong, it would be down to me. It wou...
