Thanks Nuts ... I had a 1.9TDI sport Ibiza - and sold that to get the zed :lol:

Only the 1.4TDi this time ... but it still goes well enough - and is dirt cheep to run which means we can keep the other toys!

Ah well - needs to be done ... there is also a bracket on the exhaust which needs replacing but only comes from BMW so that is on order

What I haven't had yet is the bill! :shock:

So the zed (which is currently an F) will be £260 More annoying is the Disco (also currently an F) which will go up to £440 That's double! Molly is a 1962 MG Mk4 Magnette - she is a little like a Cambridge tho ....

There is also a ZA Magnette, another 60's Mk4 Magnette and a Land Rover Discovery .....

As of Feb this year when the Road Safety Act came into play, radar detectors etc are ILLEGAL, including those items with 'alternate uses' such as garage door openers. You have been warned........ ... well OH informs me it is a noisey cam follower!!! Tends to be when started from cold - and goes pretty soon - certainly within a few mins .. Well - hopefully not as dramatic as that - but something has broken!! Typically OH is away and I am not sure what bit has fallen off ... it's approx in the middle of the passenger window on the inside between the outer bit of the roof and the lining ... looks like piece of string that goes from a sm...

Do all zeds have them - or just some of them

Does mine - 2002 1.9 sport

Had an advisory note after MOT that brakes pads were worn but having discussions with OH over whether or not it has the warning lights anyway!

Mines around 67,500 I think - it was the one thing that I compromised on in the end - the zed was higher mileage than I would of liked but at the time I was doing loads of miles so I put loads on any car anyway and it does have a full service history Anyway - it's a BMW it'll go on for years and years
