I'm here too, never post, just lurk, but at least i've been a member for more than a month. :) I had to laugh at myself. I asked someone if those of us from the USA were welcome, was told to come over and register only to find my username taken. Seems I had registered and forgotten. Still lurk tho....

I wonder which navigation tool it uses. Since the car is produced in the U.S., I suspect that it uses NavTeq which is best for NA (that's why we love Garmin and Magellan over here). TeleAtlas is supposed to have better mapping for Europe (which is what TomTom uses), and that's why you guys all love ...

Basic advice is don't mix tyres. F1s are a good all round choice are also OK for more extreme 'work', I ran them on my CSL for a couple of track days and they were OK. Re Falkens, I know that some people run them on here and find them to be perfectly acceptable. I do believe however in the old adag...

Sorry in advance if our NA models differ from your European models in this way but... In our Z4's, there is a keyhole in the end of the dashboard (you have to open your passenger door to see it). That's where you insert your key and turn to disable the passenger airbag. Then your passenger airbag in...

I think using a self-serve car wash bay is fine as long as you do two things: 1) polish, wax, and seal your paint at least every 6 months 2) Do NOT dry off your Zed afterwards with towels, etc. since you didn't actually wash all the dirt off, just rinsed most of it off.
