Re: Z4 Sticky Steering
M, That's very helpful thank you! I prefer the sound of a small hole and squirt lube in rather than grease nipples, at least then you can get lighter ones in as it were lol :) Will research Z4 Forum now. Don't mind doing it myself just want to see exactly where to drill. Cheers for the tip re roof m...

Re: Z4 Sticky Steering
Hi Maurice, Thank you for the advice, I thought that's the situation!! Where are you based? Anywhere in the south? Might ask for a supervisory eye if I need to drill it!! It is non existent when cold, first start but gets sticky after a few minutes. Wondered if it might be the bottom UJ? Thanks, Jason

Lightweight flywheel and clutch for S50
I have free for collection a used but slightly damaged S50 lightweight flywheel and clutch. It is essentially okay I think but would benefit from checking by an engineering firm on a lathe to make sure its still perfectly balanced. Basically had it on my car and it came loose, fortunately right outs...

Jontt, Thanks for the comments! Currently the standard steering wheel is fitted so no airbag problems... The brakes are superb, from cold through to track use. They never fade just work consistently. A very good setup in my opinion! With regards the wheels I have no spacers on the front but have a 1...

Steve, Yes a remap (of good quality) is worth while, particularily with a simota to compliment it. It takes a few hundred miles to really show its full effects but you will notice the difference and get a nice subtle induction roar as a bonus! I think Evolve reckon on 12-15bhp for that combined pack...

I am biased but a highly tuned 3.2 M straight six lump sounds pretty gnarly! Though my old Alfa GTV 3.0 with race cats, straight exhaust, carbon intake, remap and lightweight flywheel sounded pure evil.... Porsche flat six got be up there as well, they sound so good... Merry Christmas all!! :dunce: ...

Weight reduction - How effective?

Obviously the seats weight a lot but I am reluctant to loose them because they are comfortable and heated for winter drives. I was considering removing carpet and sound deadening throughout and possi...
