When you stop at traffic lights, put the handbrake on and take your foot off the footbrake - that way you don't blind the driver behind you. It also makes your brake light bulbs last longer! An also, put the gear into neutral and un-clutch, or is that already included in your advice? I've re...

Look at all the pine trees, clearly this road is in Norway  http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k190/coldpost_/GIFs/012-Luxemburg02.jpg Nice try, but the separation line in the middle of roads is yellow in norway. :P :P :P I cannot figure out what the color blotch is supposed to be, though. Luxemburg is great driving country, I can recommend the N15 -> N27 from Bastogne into the Bourscheid area (and the castle itself). Where is this fish hill?? We had just visited this castle so possibly that was the road we were on  Phil, can you remember having passed this part??? This photo is...

I thought the sport button was only present on the 2.5si, 3.0si and M models. To be honest, you really aren't missing that much, it's a bit of a novelty at the start, but, you begin using it less and less as time goes on. Funny, I'm the other way around. I never used the sports button on my M roads...

Re: Cups?
Haven't you ever gone on a trip and bought yourself a softdrink or a bottle of water? Where did you put it? The cupholder is excellent for that.Mike Fishwick wrote:Why do you need a cup holder? Do people really drive with cups full of coffee etc slopping around?

The Z4 'Coupe' that is. Unfortunately taking the roof of a car doesn't do too much for safety. I does say the Coupe/Convertible (If you browse the photos). I don't think the focus is on rollover protection, but even so from what I have heard the Z4 roadster does very well in that aspect compared to...

whiteminks , I'm pretty sure you are going to like this: Last summer we went for a car vacation in northern Europe in our Z4, 9 days two persons. You really don't need too much clothing for 9 days so the luggage compartment was less than half empty. This allowed us to bring home the following extra...

I flew into Rome, rented a car, then drove up to Tuscany. I stayed at Castella di Spaltena in a small town in Chianti. The roads in that region are supurb. Re: Car vacation in Italy
Driving conditions in Italy, safety, best month to do it etc ... I'm all ears, especially on the Sicilian part, which is the one I am the least familiar with :-) I went on a driving holiday in Italy once. I'll go on holiday there again, but never in a car. :fade  Care to elaborate as to why?

Car vacation in Italy
We are planning a double week cruise in Europe this summer, from the French riviera, down the west coast of Italy, around Sicily and back up the Italian east coast, before crossing the Alpes at one of their high mountain passes. We are going in our Z4 M Roadster. 8-) So I figured I could ask here if...
