I thought the sport button was only present on the 2.5si, 3.0si and M models. To be honest, you really aren't missing that much, it's a bit of a novelty at the start, but, you begin using it less and less as time goes on. Funny, I'm the other way around. I never used the sports button on my M roads...

I can confirm the Z4M steering is hydraulic to increase feel with the road, it's not the electric system used in the other Z4 models.

Michelin Pilots fitted as standard on my Alpina. 275-30-19's on the rear, 245-30-19's on the front. IMO a fantastic tyre. Great grip and hard wearing. I am considering mounting 19" and wider wheels on my M . . . do you have any problem with rubbing when on max turn radius or at any other momen...

My previous Z4 was a Merlotred. The color is stunning, and my wife always liked it better than our current sapphire black. I don't think you will go wrong with a merlotred. It gives the car a lot of class.

whiteminks, the most therapeutical you can do is drop the A3 and get the Z4 :wink:

We have never had space problems when doing shopping, except when buying furniture or big TVs. For trips, if you are a little smart when packaging, it's amazing the stuff you can put into the z4 boot.

The 1 series are great commuter cars and have a decent capacity when you need to transport something big.
I lease a 116 beside my Z, and I use the 116 most days for work. That arrangement is working great. As an added plus the 1 series looks good as well (but not as great as my Z :P )
