After changing Trojan's shoes back to EOM, I now have for sale: Tyres: Removed from purchased M wheels: 2 x Alpha Accelera 245/40ZR17 95W XL these have 5+mm tread. 2 x Dunlop Spsport Max 225/45ZR16 these have 4-5mm tread (one edge with only 3.9mm). £50 set. Thanks dino, I had a classic mini for 15 years, I know all about character.....! Suspension is standard as far as as I know. I've just replaced my 19" wheels and gone back to 17" OEM's and I've fallen in love with Trojan all over again :) He drives so much better - just like a mini :D pre...

Wheels purchased and in for a refurb. They are waiting for me to choose tyres. After reading all the forums have almost decided on Pilot Sport 3 -PS3. Any comment? I did I read somewhere you would go back to Falkens . .

Thank you Gazza that helps a lot and explains the shadow ones on eBay at the mo. I fully agree with you, cheap tyres are a killer - I'll look through the old threads about what to buy when the sun goes down 8-) You still wearing the jodhs? :wink:

I'm looking for a set of OEM wheels for my car. If I find some what tyres should I buy. Are S50 wheels the same spec as the S54 pretty please? I know I could do some research but who wants to spend such a beautiful day sat at a computer. Thanks guys :P

Yes I was there (7.30-11.30am) and you missed me :o Trojan was in the far pits, facing the grandstand, under cover and parked next to a Z4. It was a friendly, enjoyable morning and I spoke to some interesting folk from .org. I have some photos to prove I was there, will try and upload them . . . :D

Soft-top Sunday, 7th June 2015. You can still apply for a pass to get your car into the pits. I haven't heard if my Z is considered important enough to be one of the chosen few yet :roll:

This year I have insured with Adrian Flux. For an extra £30ish I have also bought an Agreed Value policy. I had to fill out a form stating the condition of certain bits of the car - electrical, mechanical, bodywork etc. I also sent them photos of the mileage, engine, bodywork, hood, seats, dash, etc...

Yep, I'd go for this one as mentioned:

First thing I'd check though is water in the tilt switch in the well on the passenger side of the boot (behind and below the trim).

exact same thing happened to me in my 1.9

Trojan just passed his MOT @ Scotthall BMW with an advisory: "wiper blades noisy across screen". I told them to go ahead and fit new, but luckily, they didn't have any in stock (£40.63) :shock: Any recommendations please :?:

I can't remember much difference between my S50 and S54. In fact my S54 had a brand new clutch and Flywheel fitted just after I bought it (both OEM) and there was still not much difference. Another one in our area Sunday 24 July @ Beaulieu Motor Museum. £10 entry for German cars and you use the parkland entrance. Also included in the ticket price is access to all the other attractions. It's in my diary as a must :lol:
