Shocking to see this. I'm guessing as the ferry increased speed out of Stranraer and began to rise slightly bow first, the slight increase in angle on the car deck would cause any heavy vehicle to try and roll backwards. The only thing I have ever seen them use on that ferry are yellow plastic wedge...
