My local main dealer has never charged me for the use of a courtesy car, I always drive away in something 'interesting' and last time there was no charge for work that, strictly speaking, was not covered by warranty.
Hey! How lucky am I ?

Hi Phil, I bought my first Z4 - a 2.2 ES in 2004. I did the rounds of all the fun looking 2 seaters - Audi, Honda etc. I was coming out of my third Land Rover Discovery, so it really was a mid life crisis. I was fifty. I loved every minute of that Maldives Blue ragtop. A two week, three thousand mil...

My prayer for 2011
Dear God,
All I ask for in 2011 is a big fat bank account and a slim body.
Please do not mix up the two like you did last year.
Amen

Bin the runflats ASAP. I've used Pirelli PZero Assymetrico and Falken 452's. My money goes on the Falkens anyday. Good grip in wet or dry, good quiet ride, NO tram-lining. OK it's a bit of a gamble not having a spare etc. I carry the foam and a compressor but realistically I would think that they wo...

I was going to tell the story of how I got pulled in North Wales about 6 weeks ago for 'allegedly' having no road tax on my 330i Cab. But I don't think I'll bother now. :| A. Got pulled yesterday
Driving conditions less than perfect in Lancashire/Cheshire yesterday. It took me three hours to get from Ormskirk to Northwich in the morning (left home at 05:30). On my return yesterday afternoon, more snow. I join M6 northbound from M56, Behind me, already on M6 is a marked police X5. I blend in ...

BTW ... we are a mother and son team, not a father and son team. Husband is an accountant, hence not much use on cars really! Russ, if you haven't managed to find out yet, pushing the button on the end of the indicator stalk DOES scroll through the information of... average speed, average mpg, miles to go before you get out and push, outside temp (you can have degC or degF), time (24 or 12 hr modes). Holmeswood, Lancs
woop woop got a flash and a wave from a silver Z3 on Holmeswood Road, Holmeswood near Ormskirk this afternoon. I'd almost given up on the Z drivers in this area. it had a hard top on and a T** *** personal plate. Nice to see.
