Arthritic Zed!
Took the Zed to get the once over after he started getting creaky around the suspension. Apparently the bushes (?) are starting to wear and thus I get a creak/squeak from around the wheels as I go over bumps. Of course in summer with the roof down I already stand out a bit but with the noise too I r...

That looks even better, looks like it'll cost me about £25 for a bottle/kit to do both seats, I'm looking through their list for my seat colour, I think it'd be 'Z3 1.9 beige' however I seem to remember mine might be named after a womble or something, kind of beige with those nobbly bits on the seat...

Re: Leather cleaning/help
Looks like it'll be a decent leather cleaner and then the Meguairs kit then, I think the clean will do most of the work, conditioner will hopefully top it off, the broken bits aren't cut and flapping, they're sort of scuffed so anything to help would be good!

I've been rather neglectful of the interior of the Zed, or rather the seats and door cards. The exterior, now that's always spotless and the interior surfaces get an AutoGlym polish several times a month, the carpets hoovered etc, but the seats always get left alone. I don't particularly know what t...

A little help, if nothing else you can laugh at the way this problem is described! My Zed has developed a regular noise on the R/O/S, which increases in regularity (but not volume) with speed. It's annoying and in text can only be described as a swishing noise or possibly 'shhh' noise. Of course whe...

Thanks for the reply, however what is specifically meany by 'tight setup' behind? Also, would the port be front or rear facing for best effect, knowing that the front of the parcel rack is quite weak material, would it be better rear facing, assuming that the port is there to allow more air in, rath...

I have an 8" Rainbow 'Vanadium' subwoofer set up using the parcel cubby behind/between the seats, I think there used to be links to a guide to making the enclosure on the boards somewhere. Anyway, although the sound is of high quality it isn't as deep as I would like, or maybe, having had the s...

I've got an SD based system and I must admit it's fantastic not to have CD's everywhere in the car, the fascia looks a lot less cluttered too. One thing to check though is how many tracks your unit will allow per SD card... Mine will allow 256 albums in separate files and the manual claims it will o...

Had the Zed now for 6 years, bought him at 39k miles and he's now up to 86k miles, including a few great nationwide drives with the roof off and one memorable great day at the beach parked in a row of Astra's and the like, hood down, drawing admiring glances from everyone! No huge spends on anything...

Parked up for the gym this afternoon and decided to leave the Zed with the roof down. Went back a bit later lo and behold a silver Zed on a S plate parked (in a 'breakout' position) right next to it with the roof down. Would have waved but it was unattended.

Roof has been repaired, huzzah. Now its noisy at speed and there is a very slim space where water can get through between the window and the roof itself. Is this something I can sort out or do I have to go back to the upholsterer with an annoyed look on my face?
