It is grey with BMW on it and has Velcro straps for fitting.

I changed both the inner and outer track rods on my car this week and since then the car has felt more alert and that the steering wheel is doing what I ask. There seemed to be lots of play before and now it is more responsive.

Might be something along those lines for you
