I was hoping it would be as simple as sourcing a 2 button new style key and having it cut and programmed to the existing security system in the car, hence doing away with the seperate fob.

Both of the keyring parts on my seperate fob have snapped off. I know new fob cases are available at cheap as chips prices but can the old type seperate fob be updated to 2 button key fob so that the remote is a part of the key?

I've decide to sell my plates. They are currently on my zed and will transfer to new owner or put on retention. The transfer costs will be put onto the sale price. Open to any reasonable offer so don't hesitate to put your interest forward. These are defiantely to be sold. The reg mark is EE Z3 286.

Alarm question

Locking my Zed is usually followed by 2 beeps then she locks. Today she has started sounding a third extended beep. It still locks but the siren just went off after around 15 mins. If anyone here has any insight into this your help would be appreciated. It's the old type brick fob with a red button ...

Have you checked the tailpipe on your exhaust. Mine ratlles sometimes from worn hanger rubbers i presume (it's on my fix it list). Just give your tailpipe a shake to see if it reproduces the noise.

Thanks Maniac :D Anyone know where to get the clips that hold the seatbelt to the chair at the top?? You can get them from the $tealers. Not an expensive item.
