Both of the keyring parts on my seperate fob have snapped off. I know new fob cases are available at cheap as chips prices but can the old type seperate fob be updated to 2 button key fob so that the remote is a part of the key?

Finally have treated the Zed to a new set of wheels. Specially picked for the deep dish. Will be removing the ginger as soon as i get the courage up. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/barracoota66/020720114462-2.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/barracoota66/020720114461-2-1.jpg http:/...

Alarm question
Locking my Zed is usually followed by 2 beeps then she locks. Today she has started sounding a third extended beep. It still locks but the siren just went off after around 15 mins. If anyone here has any insight into this your help would be appreciated. It's the old type brick fob with a red button ...

Cherished plate Z3 2.8
Selling my plate now and looking, open to offers on the site first. Perfect reg for Z3 2.8. The plate is currently on my car and would be put on retention for the purchaser. As part of the sale the retention fee would be taken as deposit for the plate and remainder payable on transfer. The plate rea...

Well i'm a bit bias towards the Z3 2.8 i have and previously had. In my opinion the Z3 build quality is better and i have a preference for the soft top. The pro's for the TT are better fuel economy, i managed around 32mpg around town. The Quattro system is very good and handling is better than the Z...

Very much doubt you would find anyone here that would say no to your question, myself included. I've had a Z3 2.8 only to stupidly sell it and have a number of other cars since. In my opinion and that's all it is, you won't find a better convertible for your money(So i bought another one). I found m...

I'm so impreesed with the new Zed, apart from fairly ordinary alloys. Arctic Silver bodywork is in pristine condition, not a mark, scratch or chip anywhere. It's the 2.8 version with full winter pack, full service history and only 78k on the clock. The previous owner was a retired gent who only used...

Z3 plate
Picked the new z3 up this afternoon, well chuffed. I hope it's not an omen though as it hasn't stopped raining since and now it's pouring down. So no roof down experience today. How do i get a realistic valuation on the existing private plate? It's spot on for the Zed but i already have one and not ...

Trying again for a sale to get myself back behind the wheel of a Zed. Would also be happy to consider a swap for a 2.8 if the right one comes along and anyones looking for that kind of a deal.

I've enjoyed it whilst i've had it to be honest. There probably a few more niggly things that go wrong with them than my experience with the Zed, but this car has had them sorted at my expense. It's always a good idea to get involved with forums before you buy, which on this occasion i didn't do. It...

I'n the process of trying to sell my Audi TT roadster and can't wait to get back behind the wheel of another Zed. It's been a while since my previous Z3 departed but i'm hoping it won't be too much longer. The desire to be a Z3 owner has never really gone away and when i have one once again i hopefu...

Thanks Maniac :D Anyone know where to get the clips that hold the seatbelt to the chair at the top?? You can get them from the $tealers. Not an expensive item. Here's a link for a better fitting guide. It's an improvement on the way BM fitted them. http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15429
