Re: F/S - BMW Z3 3.0 Sport 2001 - Full BMW Aerodynamic bodykit & ACS goodies
Sorry to say. That's a lot for an 89,000 mile 3.0 Z3 l sold my show winning 56,000 mile Topaz Blue 3.0 M Sport (with hardtop) not so long ago on here, and it went for £8,000 lt had a history file about two inches thick and a shelf full of car show trophies. But, best of luck with it, you never know ...

How’s my old Z3 3.0
I sold my Topaz Blue Z3 3.0 to someone on here back in March. Just wondering how the car is getting on? I can’t find any posts about it, the buyer said he was going to open a project thread, not that anything needed doing on the car! I hope that the Z3 is going great, l never really used it that muc...

The LSD will reduce wheelspin but won't prevent it altogether.
l was told by BMW that low speed roller rigs are not a problem.
But you can ask the MOT garage to avoid using it if you are still worried, with my Ferrari they road tested it instead as it was too low to go on the rollers.

I asked this question at my local BMW dealer a couple of years ago, and was given the reply that "a single wheel roller rig may be safely used for speeds of up to 5mph" as the speed differential between the two wheels is not high enough to cause an issue. l would guess it's a lot less stre...

I would go with returning the car to standard. l don't think the extras will increase the value/desirability, and it may even discourage buyers who don't know about Z3's.

This is what can happen with modern cars. One of the reasons my daily driver is a Defender 110. People are often shocked at the repair costs, but it's sadly the way cars are these days. It may be of those faults where you may have to bite the bullet and take it in to a dealer/specialist. Dilute the Waxoyl with 10% gearbox oil and it stops it from going hard/flaking off.
I tried it on my friend's static caravan chassis, six years later the coating is still sticky and mostly intact after being subject to six British Winters.

Same colour, identical mileage, with hardtop, plus mine is the M Sport version. I think these 3.0 Z3's are undervalued at present.
