It goes back to them in a couple of months anyway so i'm not all that bothered about that, as long as it lasts until then!! The car is great, but things are tight right now with the recession biting so i need something much cheaper!

I've just come across this one too, does anyone know if BMW were replacing them for free outside the warranty period? Read some rumours that they were....

Thats quite hideous, but don't the huge wheels make the car look small. I have been out in them a few times, 645 and M6, brilliant GT cars. Not mega sporty due to the size more than anything else. But they do look awesome in the right colour.

I assume that is the Icelink Plus, not the Icelink. I had the Icelink Plus in my previous 2004 Z4 which worked fine with the navigation screen. Not as nice as an Intravee though, and I don't think it supports the new ipods as far as I know. Yeah sorry, it is the plus. It seems ok with my brand new ...

no offense dude but thats my opinion....if you ask the majority of mini drivers why they bought it i doubt the reply would be "yeah i was looking for a real drivers car...something sporty".....more like "look how cute the car is & how retro the interior is WOW" the cooper S ...

I'm pretty sure the title said 'sporty runaround' not fashion accessory :lol: in all seriousness the cooper S's arent half bad if you like the marmite dash board and the fact its more of a gimm...

I honestly thought it might just be me who had gotten hyper critical of driving definately in Birmingham. Terrible things you see these days :( Its not a quick fix either, the L test needs to be made harder (to advanced standards) and then in a generation we'll have a better educated driver pool.

Its a cracking place, a few of us went over with MINI's in 2003! Top weekend. Kinda have that feeling of, been there, done it, got back with car in one piece and with all my limbs intact........ leave it there! Its a scary place, especially in the wet and temperatures of max +3 degrees C all weekend...

The 338 was excellent, i was heading down to Andover at New Year and got bored on the A34 so hopped off, put the roof down and went for it down this road, absolutely fab!!!
