Updating your headlights on your Z4

Imagine you're driving along a back road in the summer, top down, weather is perfect - not too hot, not too cold. You've taken the Z out for a little stretching of the legs or maybe you're coming back from a party and want to open her up a little. But you can't see that far down the road, so you spe...

What price are they for RHD and shipped to the UK? Really interested as they do look spot on.
Same price. Just no really inexpensive shipping option to you. Either priority - $90 ish or Express $120.

OO 1005 wrote:Thought so but when I asked him about LHD lights he told me they were not available but he could modify a RHD ones to be level... ie neither LHD or RHD...
We can only special order the RHD, we generally simply take the LHD and modify them for a flat beam.

If we order RHD, it takes 3 weeks usually.

Yep, but my thinking is that with a projector lamp, you effectively have the same beam pattern control of OEM HID lights with strong beam cut offs (ie not the blurry beam pattern of older halogen style lamps). Halogen bulbs produce a very hazy cut off with very poor lighting in these lights. HID do...

Not to put a dampener on things, but, it's worth noting that aftermarket HID are a legal gray area in the UK. Unless they are OEM (or ISO approved), and have washer units, they are not road legal. It's a grey area in the states as well. The issue should be moot however since the lights themselves h...

As for the fitment of the HID, the headlights aren't able to accept them without major modifications (which we do). I still don't understand as HID conversion kits have a replacement HID bulb in the same size fitment the OE headlight is (ie standard fitments H1,H7,HB3/4 etc). Does that mean changin...

I have to admit I do like these one more than the ones from the group buy. I opted out of the group buy as I felt the lights and angels just didn't look right, however these look much better with the rings the right way round, however £300 is still a bit steep especially as it'll probably get whack...

Umnitza, I am guessing that since you posted here you got the anser on the RHD variant I asked you via email ? There has already been a group buy on a 'similar' item from another vendor on this board, so it would be helpful if you could explain the modifications you make that make your product bett...
