Thanks for replying. I jumped straight onto the battery. The car will start after switching off maybe once or twice and then stop. I had an RAC man check voltage and he said it was fine. -Not sure that this was a thorough test though.

Finally managed to fit the Alu centre console, leather boomerangs and chrome gear knob!! Took me about 3hrs in total but I'm really pleased with the results. Christ thats quick. Im going off the detailed instructions that were sent to me by Jared on the forum.

Really need to get some new chrome rings though because apparently they dont fit the thinner metal console. Also any fixings needed in case they break.

Centre Console Trim

Hi All, Does anyone know where to get the Alu effect centre console? I know about the brushed alu set on ebay but concerned it looks a little OTT. How much do the parts cost from BMW? Or is there an alternative? I like the Carbon Fibre trim that Yalden did, but don't have the skills for that! Cheers...
