Footwell Speakers Not Working

I have already searched and not found anything to solve the problem of the footwell speakers not working. I have a donor left hand speaker with the amp kindly supplied by a forum member and swapped it out but still nothing from the speakers. The head unit is fine as I tried it in my friends car so a...

Re: What did you buy your Z3 this week ?

Well after trying the Chipex, which came out rubbish, I had to invest in a Sealey polisher (half price on Amazon) and some G3 compound - only tried one bit of it so far on the chip repairs I did but really please with the outcome. G3 really does what it says it will unlike the Chipex

Re: What did you buy your Z3 this week ?

Just ordered some Chipex - supposed to be a revolutionary stone chip repair kit, they have it on offer for £37 for the big kit, was dubious at first but looking at a lot of vid's on Youtube it really does seem to be a very easy rememdy - when it comes and I have cracked on with it will post a report

Perhaps, but discussing it in the boozer last night apparently he has a bit of a reputation for doing the minimum amount of work, which I wasn't told about. I am just sort of pee'd off as it seems to me like one in one out with little pride in what they do if you understand where I am coming from

Rubbish Bodyshop

So after a lot of pain and sweat of fitting donor carpets and seats I went and bent the front near side bumper on a step outside a shop that was out of my line of sight, silly boy. Anyway took it a local bodyshop that a couple of mates recommended and they quoted me £130 to put it right. Picked it u...

Speaker Advice Please

So having fully refurbished the interior with donor seats and carpets I am now back in love with it after all the water damage last year. However, the speakers now sound like a 1950's Dansette so need to address this, so I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for the footwell and beh...

When I got mine in 2000, bought on the Thursday and drove to France on the Saturday down to Figeac, just over 1000k in one hit, got to Figeac and the sun was beating so dropped the softop and got a round of applause from curious onlookers. Thanks. Z3ddie - how did you stop the silicone blocking the narrow drain holes or the a pillar? Peter2b - where did you put the puncture patch? You mean you can see it still with the roof closed? Had the same problem and cured it by doing the following I removed the 'bungs' from the top of the A pillar both side - you can get them to come out quite easily with patience, then thoroughly cleaned them and the channels. I them applied a thick smear of silicone around the top of the bung and gent...
