Hey Howi, I used to live near you, in West Chiltington, before I moved to Norfolk. My band 'Cut Loose!' played many gigs in The Hen and Chicken up to 2012. Did you ever get to see us? :cheers Bonzo. Thanks guys, I've seen some silly prices around, hoping this isn't unreasonable. Still turns heads as a 16 year old car. Daughters aren't happy, it's the only thing that's cool about their Dad.

Even managed to get the car back to the garage this morning and the car has now passed for another year. :D

Thanks Brian, I'll try a bit of gentle manipulation tomorrow.

Failed MOT, unbelievable......

My Z3 has failed it's MOT and is therefore deemed unroadworthy because............. the driver seat doesn't move backwards and forwards. As I discovered when I looked this up, it is a new regulation this year, if you have an electric seat it has to work. So I now have to fix the seat, have the car r...

Has anybody seen any free tickets for Goodwood this year. I usually get free tickets courtesy of the Times Online but they don't seem to be sponsoring this year.

I'm on standby so can't guarantee I won't be called out overnight, but if available I'll join the back of the cruise in Wisborough Green, I'll probably wait outside the Three Crowns pub. No lunch required. Hope to see you all tomorrow.

Yes it is the BMW window blanket. I've just used a bit of low tack masking tape to remove the fluff. It didn't take that long.

The roof has recently been reproofed, so that hasn't helped.

Window blanket puts fluff on the roof

As per the title, I used my new window blanket and it has deposited fine threads all over the rear of the roof. I washed it, but this has made no difference. :head: Does anybody else have this issue, as i've now got to vacuum the roof to get rid of it! I assumed the soft side went against the window...

Wanted Z3 CD Changer

Does anyone have a working CD changer from a Z3 they would like to
sell me. The bracket would be handy to.

I have already acquired the head unit from ebay, but haven't found a
changer I know will fit/work in a Z3. There are so many available! :bawl:

Thanks for looking.

Detailing involves the removal of imperfections in the paintwork (swirls)
to produce a mirror like finish. You can coverup swirls with some polishes
like Autoglym SRP, but you won't remove them.

I'm going to look at a 3.0 on an X plate, which looks great apart from having 16" 8 spoke wheels. Any of the other options available at the time I feel make the car look better. Ideally I would like the multi spoke 17" without the bolts. Do BMW stock sets of alloys for 8 year old cars, or ...

New and in the market for a 2.8 Z3

Hi I'm new here, I found the site whilst throwing searches at Google looking for Z3s' for sale. I've had both a 1.9 and 2.8 in the past but switched to an M3 4 years ago following the arrival of a second child. That has now been sold, so I'm looking for a top spec 2.8 or possibly 2.2. The trouble I ...
