I quite often have to disable big expensive excavators over night and all I do is remove particular fuses from the box that make it impossible to start the engines. Not a great hardship to do and it will take too long for the thieves to figure out a fuse is missing and replace it in order to start t...

hi guys, I did take the car for a burst down the motorway over the weekend for about 40 mins but no fix. No loss of power no, aside from the vibrations, the car is running normal. Went out to the car a minute ago with crossed fingers to check the blades on the fan but they are all there. Could it st...

Well just got my Z back but to no avail. Had four people look at it but no one can find a fault. No fault codes, no obvious problems, but everyone admits there is an abnormal vibration throughout the car. One guy suggested that the fly wheel could be out of balance but at £850 for flywheel and clutc...

Just checked the spark plugs today and no issues there. Checked air filter and no problems. Started her up today for first time since the problem and now chucking out a light brown smoke from the exhaust when revving! As if running rich so maybe you could be on the mark there Jaco? Did you have any ...

cheers guys, I did go to have a look at the sparks yesterday but realised on closer inspection that its not quite so straight forward on the Z (98 2.8). Anyone know if it is in fact a DIY job changing the sparks??? I will check the air filter also. Also, it really wouldn't surprise me with the curre...

Hi guys, My Z is all of a sudden seeming very unhealthy. Since my purchase 4 month ago, have had no problems with her. The engine has been great, running extra smooth, but on Sat when i took her out, I noticed that the whole car started juddering or vibrating when idling. The revs are not jumping an...

Today i got my Z stuck. It grounded entering and exiting a driveway and I had no option but to drag it over the curb. On inspection I can see it has taken chunks out of the underside floorpan etc. Not good. Anyway, looks fiberglass, is this the case? No metal at all and all the paint is stripped? Ne...

Well, personally not my cup of tea!!! There is one in that color just up the road from me and every time I see it I wonder what went through the original owners mind to order it in that color! I would hold out for a black one if thats what you really want! You'll always regret buying a car in the wr...

... possibly should have posted this elsewhere but having hunted through the other posts, couldn't find any info on a good method for cleaning the headlight glass which when I spit n polish the car, still tend to look a little worse for wear. Hey guys, Up until a few days ago i was getting a pretty constant 27/8 mpg on all types of journeys. Over the past 8 weeks its would fluctuate slightly (like 2/3 mpg) dependent on foot weight :D . But then I found the little reset button on the trip computer last Friday and all of a sudden i'm getti...

personally i think black against blue can look wrong. The black soft tops work ok, but a hard top would not look good in black against estoril. It depends i guess, like stone wash jeans look fine with a black t-shirt, but black jeans dont look so good with a blue t-shirt  Being a lighter shade...

Not sure if its worth the aggro but under UK law, if he and yourself had made a deal, even if in words, its a legally binding contract, and he has broken that contract by selling the car to someone else, and if you could be bothered, you could do something about it, but probably not worth it... easi...
