Re: Service reset tool doesnt work !!
I cant say I've noticed any performance drop off or rough running - I have 2 lights left on (probably near 1) and the brake fluid clock has been on for over a year.
Be interesting to see if I notice a difference when I get the thing reset.

If you have the circular data link connector under the bonnet, all you need is a piece of wire to earth pin 7 for 3 seconds to cancel the lights, or 9 seconds to cancel the lights AND the clock symbol. The wire needs to be fitted with a connector which is a snug fit in the socket. Remove the socket...

Yes they have a ballast with wires coming out to the bulb and the other wires plug into the original loom, then you just put the bulbs into the original holes. Pretty simple and straight forward and if you get a 4300k kit I think they are pure white. Mine are 6000k and have a hint of blue. Think it...

Re: corroded bits round the clips that atach the hood to the
I am having the same problem - the black paint has lifted from the left and right sides of the hood frame where it meets the windscreen revealing white powder and bare metal below it.
Keen to get it fixed - is it aluminium? Is it just a case of spraying it with an appropriate paint?
