bmw z3 silver 1.9 140bhp for sale

up for sale is my 1998 's' silver bmw z3. 1.9, 140bhp, 4cyl, 5 speed manual 98,000 miles, fsh (part main dealer, part independant) with stacks of receipts. all MOT's from 1st one in 2001. Only done about 4000 miles in last year and a half due to company car and now advertisement car (smart car :( ) ...

if you open the door and have a look at the inside of the door pillar it will tell you. It will probably say it in BAR but the tyre pressure machines can normally be set to BAR..

Jontt, I wouldn't have bought them out of choice, but i was offered the wheels with tyres that had covered less than 100 miles for the price that it would cost for 1 run flat brand new so i couldnt refuse, ride was a bit more rough, although that could have been due to changing up from 17" to 1...

If you are going to remove the steering wheel, disconnect the battery and give it a good 20 mins before you start removing it, something to do with airbags and storing charge and capacitors and other electric stuff beyond my knowledge

I tend to drive a lot on the motorway late at night. I tend to use the middle lane as my car is terrible for tramlining... Could i get pulled over for this? Could i use the excuse that my car is terrible for tramlining??!!

not really on the exact topic but out of curiousity what do people get a from a full tank?

mine is a 1.9 140bhp and i get 280 miles. of which probably half is motorway although i do have quite a heavy foot

I had a look and found the module, took the connector out and it seems to have disabled it, had a quick try at shorting the wires and resetting but dont have the time right now but at least got it to a state where it is drivable.

does anybody have any experience of AC SCHNITZER lowering springs, quoted drop is 38mm rear and 48mm front, i can see quite a few other members have a 30mm rear / 45mm front setup, would this cause a problem with 225/40/18 225/35/18 wheel setup?

brilliant to drive although it was engineeringly restricted to 200 kph bout 120 mph wheras the finished product will be restricted to 155mph, and for a car of that size it really really goes 0-60mph sub 5 seconds. You can pick up a stylish brand new set of alloys with tyres for £450, and if you select bmw, z3, (your engine) it will only bring up the sets that would fit your car.

On the door sill it says the tyre pressure for my 1998 1.9 z3 should be 2.0 BAR, that is with standard 205/45/17 tyres... i have fitted 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rears.. what pressure should i be filling it to now?? iv been sticking to 30 psi but thats just a guess.. ???

I have got bridgestone potenzas on mine for the last 6 months, very grippy i would recommend them, previously i had kumos on and they lasted for 30,000 miles!! so equilly good but slightly less grip.
