Hi Guys, I've been MIA here on this forum since returning to the US from France 3 years ago. I brought the red Z1 with me and have been "tuning " it since picking it up at the port in California. I have personal knowledge of the Z1 in the Demuro video. I shared space with it on the golf co...

With the caveat that my Z1 proved remarkably easy to sell without actually ever advertising it other than on here, I've always taken the view that Z1s are a tricky re-sale prospect (although perhaps not in France) so not a car I'd take on as a short term prospect. Plus the Z1 is one of those cars w...

Always difficult to tell. When a car like a Z1 is ruined it cost a lot of effort and money to get it back to its original condition. It also depends on how handy you are . Found the solution to my dilemma....another "Budget M3" ;) E46 325ti with SMG 6-speed and sport pack. 500-600 lbs lighter than an E46 M3 so the significant horsepower deficit is not quite as noticeable as other e46's....about the same length as our beloved Z1 so it should be easier to park...

Never seen these wheels on a Z1 before. They look like those from a Z4 Alpina which would mean a 5-lug conversion and no longer a stock condition car. Alpina Rims 18" for a MINI are 4spoke ... Aha...thanks for the insight. The seller said they were 4-lug, so that must be how they fitted them.
