Cheers for that
A couple of people on other forums said that it was glued in
Hopefully I will be able to fit it fairly quickly as once the foam is out it will just be a case of fitting the brackets

Tips on fitting a hardtop
I have someone coming to pick up my hardtop and fitting kit this week and they want me to fit the hardtop for them. I understand that there are two pieces of black foam that are glued in place which I need to remove to fit the brackets. Has anybody got any tips on how to remove this foam as it looks...

So I thought I would advertise this on here before it goes on ebay. I have for sale a hardtop in Atlanta Blue. The paint has been touched up slightly at the base of the rear, but if you were planning on painting the hardtop a different colour then this wouldn't be a problem. Otherwise the hardtop is...

In the last week I have started to experience a clunking noise. It only happens when I am making sharp right or left turns at about 10mph. After I have made the turn and I am straightening the car up I hear a clunking noise which sounds like something has just clicked back into place, when this happ...

I have an older Z3 with sidelights in the headlight as standard, but facelift headlights, so I had to do this modification myself.
