I'd double check the details on your insurance policy if you're thinking about claiming for a replacement window.. the majority (if not all policies) will count this as a claim if the window needs to be replaced.. if the window can be and is repaired (and not replaced) then this doesn't affect your ...

a little late perhaps - but I've found Brakes International very good in the past:

for parts other than brakes I've used FCP Groton in the past - although this was when the exchange rate was slightly better! LOL! :

Re: Performance
Ok - the MR will eat the 2.8 in terms of performance, but in the real world - particularly the overcrowded UK - you would be very brave and/or foolish to make a habit of using the massive performance provided by the MR. That's the problem with most very powerful cars, the owners buy them to bask in...

Does any know the expense of the hood seal. Knowing BMW it wont be cheap. Also is the parcel shelf carpet easily removed? so I can see if leaking all the way round.

Re: Not These
I would not bother to change the cam sensor(s) rubber coupling, or idel control valve. The cam sensor will not gve any problems if it is clean, and you change the oil more frequently than the idiot lights tell you to - every 8-10,000 miles or yearly if you don't do many miles. Mine has the original...

Is there anything in addition to the above people would recommend checking/replacing?? If you're doing the water pump and viscous coupling then I'd be tempted to put a new fan blade assembly on.
