I used over a week squirts of WD40 between the base and the the main housing and gave it a little lift and twist after a couple of days it move a little and so carried on with the WD treatment. You don’t necessarily need to buy new seats you can buy the heat pads and retro fit and connect up to the correct cable.

My ///M only has the round port under the bonnet and the C230 is ok for limited info but will do the basic resets but I have a laptop that I'm planning to use for one of programs that has a few more bells and whistles I believe.

Any photos of the interior? Plus price list be good. How much for the rear sections of the rear speaker sections. What condition are the kick plates in? What condition are the rear wings in?

If the repair looks untidy you can sand back any lumps and respray the console or cover with carbon or metal finish wrap.

Actually this looks like a pair of very useable widebody sills. They are mis-described as skirts so might go for a bargain price. I think that I got away it when my auxiliary water pump failed. I used some extra thick tape from B&Q on my old Rover cabriolet as a temporary measure. The tape was rubbery so was ideal but only had it on for a short while, I'm sure it was less than a fiver. If you roughed the area up I wonder if a thick bead of outdoor silicone sealer would suffice?

If I was not working away I would post you a spare but will be a few pence from the dealer, but any nut from screw fix etc will do you should be able to find the size of the nut on realoem.

Not going to get a chance to do many miles before I fly back to the IOM on Tuesday. Back again in September for the lads wedding and hopefully contract extension should be confirmed at the start of October being so my skill set is needed over there buy wait and see before ferrying my car over :drive...

I have come home for a short visit and collected my car, the builder of the bottom end can only put it down to a faulty bearing so I have only paid for parts. So nice to have a drive after 8/52 doing without.

Properly should have continued from my old Fred Barry. I had a secondhand crank which was reground, polished and balanced with the conrods. New OEM +025 bearings and mains were fitted, the conrods secured with arp bolts. A new oil pump was fitted and new timing chain and tensioners. Just waiting on ...
