Sticky Windows

Hi Jon, This seems to be a regular problem. If you put "window sticking" into the site search you're bound to find lots of advice. It seems to be a case of removing the door card, a bit of WD40 on the moving bits, then silicon oil down the runners and put it all back together. I've done mi...

Morning Guys ... had the same problem with mine and took it to a local body shop for some advice. They fixed it in seconds! Pop the bonnet, gently loosen the securing bolts, and with mine the bonnet popped up on it's own. I would suggest gently loosening the side where the problem is and see if the ...

Have you missed a trick by not taking in the Gorge Du Tarn and the Milleau Bridge :shrug

Same sort of distance, just a slightly different route through the south of France, would be rude not to! :D

Have a great time whatever you do :cheers

Have acted on the advice received - thanks to Mr Silver and Macca - and purchased the bolts from ebay. However, thinking I would need 4 bolts for each seat I ordered 2 packs. Having read the advice again I now guess I only need 2 extention bolts per seat so will have 4 left over ... :dunce: If this ...

Hi Ktg ... your own experience with the later seats is really useful. It tends to suggest that rushing into the expense of changing the existing seats may not make too much difference. Raising the seat height beyond the norm by adding washers seems worth a look so may give that a go. Thanks a lot fo...

Seats ...

Thanks guys, by older seat I mean the square stitched base as opposed to the shaped base with the slight rise between the legs, which I now assume is the sports seat. Raising the seat height beyond the existing adjustment sounds like a good idea, I may have to give that a try. Trying a car with the ...

I think jonttt has got it spot on. In the circumstances I would also have my doubts about that mileage, that needs some looking into and verification.
