Misfire woes

My S50 has developed a misfire at low revs. Only on part throttle openings though. Also if in the low rev range and WOT is applied i get a huge lag before the car decides it wants to go forward.

Also for the first 10 miles of a jurney my fuel pump whines like the girlfriend non stop.

The filter is huge. It has to be though since only big filters have 90mm inlets. It doesn't have any brackets to hold it in as it fits exactly between the headlight and the MAF. Z3M induction kits

I've finished my filter set up. It utilises the OEM heat shield as it proved once rolling to be only 4 degrees above ambiant. The kit includes a large ITG filter, Silcone joiner and two jubilee clips. It is up to you what you do with the breather filter. Since i can't find a reasonably priced small ...

The std feed takes air from next to the headlight and the fog light hole. I can't see it needing another feed (Since the OEM feed will flow enough for 360bhp). Plus the bonnet isn't a perfect seal around the headlight so air will come in there.

The OEM airfeeds will remain as they can easily flow enough air. The part i'm most intestested in is if a heat shield makes that much of a difference. Since once a car is rolling, temps at the inlet side of the bay are rarely much higher than the out side temp. All the parts i need have been ordered...
