Auto owners - do you use sport or economy settings?
I have a 2.8 Auto and I keep it on the Economy setting just using Sport when the road gets interesting .I get 26 to the gallon (calculated properly not relying on the computer) mixed , mainly steady driving. I did one longish run in France on nice minor roads in Sport mode and watched the petrol gau...

Here's one Southern Softy that had the top down on his Z all day today around Kent revelling in the sunshine wind in hair.Didn't even put the top up in the garage as I will take it out tomorrow top down that's what I got a Roadster for.

Z won't start - just clicks!
Going back to my yoof this used to be a common problem with the starter motor sticking. Cure was to put car in gear IGNITION OFF and rock it back and forwards to release it.Of course if the battery is the problem it wont help.

Thanks Pangster but Black Circle include fitting, balancing and enviromental disposal, etc. at a local garage.It looks like camskill only supply.

Thanks folks for the reassurance, :lol: I suspected that was the case but it's nice to know for sure.I'd love to beef up the chassis as recommended but I can't really justify the expense and looking at the tyres I should get at least another 5000 miles before replacing.I bought the last set of tyres...

Advice please, my 1998 2.8 Z3 has pronounced negative camber (i.e. the wheels lean in at the top) on the rear wheels is this normal ? It has just passed its MOT today but the tester flagged up that the inner edges of the rear tyres are worn although the rest of the tread is excellent after 15000 mil...
