Re: June 14 - Dorset Sea Run

Where has this year gone? Glad the trip went ok CI, wasn't able to join unfortunately. Glad the weather held out. We had just returned from St Lucia (Even saw a Z3 parked up on the island. Looking a bit sorry for itself.) and it was just about the time our Summer started. Didn't go to Germany this y...

Re: June 14 - Dorset Sea Run

Hi Bazza, it's a silver 2.8 automatic. The reg looks like BONGO hence it's name. I usually wave when approaching ZZZs but not all respond. I'll look out for you. My step daughter damaged a wheel in a pothole on ZZ hill recently although my wife confirms they have now repaired a lot of the holes. CI,...

ZigZag Hill road is very pot holed CI, Might not want to do any spirited driving along there.

Sorry I've not replied to your emails, very busy with Golf & work at present to commit. Keep in touch.

Not many drivers waving in and around Verwood. :(

Lovely tip. Worked straight away. Just bought and installed a new CD/MP3/Bluetooth radio so I'm happy to get my CDs out.

Now need to remove the old unit. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I've searched without much success.

The fall out of dust from that flamin' volcano seems to have picked on Bournemouth to lan d. I was spraying my cars daily just to keep them looking respectable. Thank goodness for the rain; it seems to ave washed away most of the airborne silica.

Thanks for the decent reply Robert. I would think most people, like me, bought the Z3 for the long term and if the car does only sell for around the £3-3,500 mark then I would consider it good value for an eight year old ZZZ. So, even if the car has a poor history, I wouldn't have thought it would b...

Good Grief Luke, sell it as it is and you'll loose a hell of a lot more than the cost of a cam sensor and it's fitting. My car, that exibited the same symptoms as yours, did not show any codes on a scanner at a normal garage. I took it to an independent BMW specialist who solved the problem and his ...

Don't be too hard on the mechanics. The cam sensors don't trigger fault codes for some reason so unless the mechanic is really familiar with these type of failures then you get led down the garden path of having all the usual bits changed and throttle valve cleaned. Go to a good independent as I did...

The airfield is Compton Abbas. It is a private grass strip airfield with a lovley clubroom/bar/restraunt and the views overlooing the countryside are stunning. The airfield is on top of a plateau.

Google it and you'll see what I mean.

Woods in Bournemouth have three ZZZs for sale. Two 'R' reg and one 'S' reg. One has 48K and is 2.8 manual. Not sure of mileage of others but one is a 1.9 variant. And the prices? Between £6.9K and £7.9K.

I'll take a picture and post it up next day if I get chance.
