Hi Batterzee, mine used to be awful for brake dust, but i found out there was an underlying problem with the brake calipers sticking, so i would be tempted to get them checked out as now i can do about 200 miles before the wheels start to look quite mucky. Seems like a very good deal if they work ok.

I would be really interested if the pads are as 'dust free' as they quote. The OEM ones on mine make the wheels look shite after 50 miles, a real pi$$ off. :head:

Brake fluid is 'hygroscopic' and thus needs replacing relatively frequently. If you live and park the car outside in an area of high humidity or rain fall this is particular important.

It wouldn't fit in the boot, I can't quite picture it sitting on the missus' lap, and she probably would moan a bit if I decided to leave her behind! You certainly wont be dissapointed with the 3.0 but make sure you go for the sport, apart from the extras you get a lot better suspension set up. Anyway I think I must be in the 'old' category as I use the manual 'Steptronic' facility on my 118d and the 'Z' when I go down long hills. :oops:
